This vintage Hires embossed tin sign is an original advertisement used at soda shops and gas stations in the 1950’s. It reads “For Pleasure And Thirst” in navy blue lettering in the outer area of the sign, with “For Pleasure” at the top, and “And Thirst” at the bottom. The word “HIRES” is in large white lettering stretching across the upper part of the inner navy blue area and out into the light blue area. In the center of the sign is a red bullseye with a white check mark in the center. Just below the bullseye it reads “Made With” in white script style lettering. Just below the words “Made With” is a red rectangular background that stretches across the bottom of the navy blue area and into the light blue area. On the red square is another white check mark, and the words “Roots, Bark, Herbs” in white block style lettering. There is a thin navy blue stripe that runs just inside the outer border of the sign, and a red accent mark in each of the sign’s four corners.
